I know many people have found Odette and Gilberte irresistible.I'm a big fan of involuntary memory, obsessive love, little phrases in piano and violin sonatas, and baked goods ... but I've decided that life is too short for me to ever continue reading Proust.
Sorry, Proust. Sorry Swann.It gave me great joy to bring all three Moncrieff volumes to the Free Book Box this morning and I gained about 9 inches of bookshelf space.
